Video Devotional :

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed(1) to this world: but be ye transformed(2) by the renewing(2) of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

conformed - συσχηματίζεσθε (from συσχηματίζω - suschēmatizō)

transformed - μεταμορφοῦσθε ( from μεταμορφόω -metamorphoō)

renewing ἀνακαινώσει (from ἀνακαίνωσις - anakainōsis)

Romans 12:2 καὶ μὴ συσχηματίζεσθε(1) (mē sunschēmatizesthe - not be fashioned or shaped according to… ) τῷ αἰῶνι τούτῳ, ἀλλὰ μεταμορφοῦσθε(2) τῇ ἀνακαινώσει(3) τοῦ νοός ὑμῶν, εἰς τὸ δοκιμάζειν ὑμᾶς τί τὸ θέλημα τοῦ Θεοῦ, τὸ ἀγαθὸν καὶ εὐάρεστον καὶ τέλειον.

The Tension in the this verse is between the two words, Conformed - transformed (συσχηματίζεσθε - μεταμορφοῦσθε). And what happens when you let the pull to be transformed by God win out against the push to conform.
